On November 13, 2016 Beirut Marathon Association gathered Lebanese and global agents of change; families, women, men, children, and professional runners, to run for peace and love.

IWSAW’s strong belief in a peaceful society, jumped on board to support this movement by raising awareness on the precondition of a peaceful and harmonious world: a balanced, fair, and equal society. What better way to achieve peace than empowering society’s other half, for the benefit of all?

IWSAW’s beliefs were reflected on an enormous screen, playing our animated song, “In My Hand”, Bi Ideh in Arabic, targeting mainly youth, and capturing the attention of more than 40000 runners.

The idea behind this effort is to remind youth in the Arab region that positive change is indeed in their hands!
