Promoting Women’s Political Participation
Pushing for women’s participation at the local and national level in Lebanon and around the Arab region is a key pillar of AiW’s mission. AiW is part of the “National Coalition to Support Women’s Political Participation in Lebanon” that advocates for a 30% quota and builds media campaigns to coordinate these crucial efforts. We produce research to promote and document women’s political participation in Lebanon and the Arab region.
We also recognize the power of our youth and work to embolden our future leaders through trainings, workshops, and speaking series.
