In collaboration with the United Nations Economic & Social Commission for Western Asia and The Institute for Political Studies at the University of Saint Joseph, we organized a symposium entitled: “Women in the Arab Spring”. The symposium was held on January 17, 2012 at the Lebanese American University, Irwin Hall, Faculty Lounge.

The symposium hosted speakers from Morocco (Activist in the 20th of February Movement), Libya (Founding Member of the Coalition of the 17th February Revolution), and Lebanon.
