The Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World and The Netherlands Institute for Academic Studies in Damascus organized a lecture entitled: “Combating Human Trafficking: Looking Beyond Law Enforcement”. The lecture was given by Professor Conny Rijken. Dr. Conny Rijken is Associate Professor at Tilburg Law School, Tilburg University and Senior Research Fellow at INTERVICT.

LAU students, representatives from different NGOs, and academics attended the lecture.
