In the event of Al-Raida going digital on its 40^th anniversary, making accessible more than 150 issues, IWSAW installed a stand on LAU campus Byblos and Beirut on Tuesday 6^th and Thursday 8^th of December, 2016 respectively to introduce students to our academic journal Al-Raida, our mission and scope of work.

We chose these dates to coincide with the 16 Days of Activism, thus taking this opportunity to focus on raising awareness on gender-based violence, and providing students with a space to engage with us, and advance our main goal: Gender Equality.We invite you to jump on board, by visiting us during our open house to meet the team and join us for some cookies and cake! We also encourage you to attend our events, to sign up to our internship opportunities, and academic programs; such as enrolling in a Minor in Gender Studies, MA in Interdisciplinary Gender Studies Program, and Gender in Development and Humanitarian Assistance Diploma (GDHA).

We all have a responsibility to ensure that our learning is built on human rights and gender equality – it is everyone’s right.
