The Institute for Women’s Studies in the Arab World and The Outreach and Civic Engagement Unit in cooperation with The Netherlands Institute for Academic Studies in Damascus hosted the director of the to-be-established Netherlands Institute in Beirut to give a lecture on “Gender Studies in Holland”.

The presentation focused on study opportunities in the Netherlands in the field of Gender Studies. The presentation included an overview of the Netherlands Institutes worldwide, some facts about the Netherlands, and Gender Studies programs and centers in the Netherlands (Degree Programs & info on GS centers, Finances: Costs of Living, Scholarships, Visas, FAQ’s).

LAU students from different disciplines attended and participated in the Q&A.
