Miguel Mendelek

Miguel Mendelek is the Gender Integration Specialist at AiW. In his capacity, Miguel actively contributes to developing different research activities and projects related to women’s studies; initiates new outreach engagements to expand The AiW’s reach and impact; closely collaborates with student employees, interns, and volunteers on a wide range of programs; promotes the work of The AiW amongst members of the LAU community; occasionally publishes blog posts and semi-academic articles in journals and other outlets; and importantly upholds LAU’s core values of gender equality and inclusion. Miguel completed his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Affairs (2018) and his Master of Arts in International Affairs at LAU (2021). His research interests stem from the field of international relations with a renewed focus on gender concerns in security, migration, governance studies, and other fields.
