Joanna Fayad

Joanna Fayad is the Senior Gender Integration Specialist at AiW, and works on mainstreaming gender at LAU by conducting different activities to engage students in gender-related issues. She also coordinates and manages AiW projects related to human rights and women’s political participation. Joanna is also responsible for organizing some of AiW’s activities and events (lectures, conferences, seminars, workshops, roundtables, awareness-raising campaigns). Joanna has previous experience working in research, development, and political issues (namely elections) between 2014 and 2016 in different Lebanese organizations. Joanna joined the Institute in 2017. She obtained her BA in Political and Administrative Sciences from Saint-Joseph University and her MA in Diplomacy and Negotiation Strategies from Sagesse University.
