Empowering Arab Women Through Literacy Program (Arabic)

“Empowering Arab Women Through Literacy Program” (2005) is a series of 12 second level literacy booklets based on IWSAW’s “Basic Living Skills Program”.

Its users are social workers, educators, and public health trainers affiliated to non-governmental organizations, governmental institutions, and international organizations involved in community development programs.

The objectives of this program are to strengthen the capacities of Arab women in reading and writing and to empower them with skills to improve the quality of their lives.

This program targets women who already have ended the first level of literacy but have no material to perfect their basic skill in reading and writing. These booklets came as an answer to a dire need for specialized material so that these women will not fall back into illiteracy.
