Bearing Witness to the Layers of Occupation and Strategies for Resistance
In this piece, Malayah Harper, a SheDecides Global Champion, Chief Advisor Fair Share Women Leaders and the former General Secretary of the World YWCA, reflects on the Palestinian Occupation through her own work in the region, and her close work with Mira Rizeq, the General Secretary of the YWCA Palestine. Harper tracks some of the foreign policy changes that have occurred in the Occupied Territories over the past year, and discusses some of the ways that feminist actors have mobilized against these changes.
